Vanilla Sponge Cake with Cream Filling

2️⃣ Make the cream

1. Whip cold cream until soft peaks.

2. Add powdered sugar + vanilla.

3. Whip until thick and creamy (don’t overbeat).

 

3️⃣ Assemble

1. Cut the cake horizontally into 2 layers.

2. Spread cream on the bottom layer.

3. (Optional) Add a thin layer of jam.

4. Place the top layer gently.

5. Chill 30 minutes before serving.

 

✨ Tips for perfect result

Cake must be completely cold before adding cream

For extra moisture, brush cake with milk or sugar syrup

Store in fridge (up to 2 days)
